“The Clinic” format will consist of :
1. 60 mins – Basketball Training
I.E. Warm Up – 5 mins. (Aerobic Run) , Jump Rope – 5 mins. , defensive drills , passing drills , shooting drills , 1 on 1 , 2 on 2 , 3 on 3 . 3 man weave and teaching principles on spacing , maximizing your dribble and court awareness.
2. 30 mins – Mental Health/Life Skills component
3. (Circle Of Trust) : 10-15 chairs around the half-court circle.
*Each participant will write down a question on a piece of paper and hand it to me without your name on it . We will discuss each question anonymously so no one feels uncomfortable. The goal is to create dialogue about mental health issues so we can work as a group to get better at decision making and being prepared to make smart choices in life ! Snacks and water will be provided. *Only participants in the Circle Of Trust will receive a free T-shirt.

I brought my son to this training for the first time, and he has not stopped talking about it. He loves the support and advice given during the drills. He loves the circle of trust that he says he can’t ask me everything, but he can go to his coach. Being a single Mom, this is important to me, knowing that my son has a reputable and respectful adult he can look up to and talk to.
